Learn How to Strengthen Your Self-Image and Create The Love of Your Dreams

Today, I am excited because I have a guest post from Alex Wise, a featured publisher of Loveawake.com dating service. He is a recognized expert on love, marriage, and relationships and he is amazing. Below, he has shared with us some tips on how to strengthen your self-image. We hope you learn more and enjoy the reading as much as we did!

A typical concern for friends of mine is the belief that they have to drop 50 pounds and/or be financially independent before they can create lasting love. This, of course, is a myth. This is just low self-esteem blocking you from being truly whole.

It’s wonderful to desire to appear your best, feel your best, have high self-esteem and be comfortable with your financial situation. It feels great to feel stable, confident, and attractive.

There are a HUGE amount of corporations that feed on peoples’ low sense of self-image. At some point or other, we have all fallen prey to buying that new exercise machine that promises to make it simple for us to tone up, slim down and own a beautiful self. Supplements, special diet foods or dieting plans, products for our hair, skin, teeth, libido, all of it! And these messages are directly centered around one simple idea –  we are not OK as we are.

We are so used to this kind of thought pattern that we hardly even realize what it is. It is no surprise that we do this. After all, when we are born, from the first day of life, we’re loved and typically treated as perfection. Soon after, we are compared to how our siblings:, at what time they attained this or that ability, learning to sit, crawling, learning the language, and so on. Our hair, our bodies and how they are similar or different to this one or that. “Oh, she appears just like Aunt Mary when she was that age.” You know the pattern.

Begin by analyzing your recurring beliefs and feelings about your body. Many people do not actually realize that they have stuck limiting vibrations or feelings from these early experiences. Negativity, whether pervading or subtle, feels bad and many of us just learn to bury it, deal with it, or drive it farther into the unconscious. These intense emotional experiences tend to continue to be subjugated. We’ve all heard the term “emotional baggage.” We walk around with old, unresolved, painful, hard to deal with feelings that continue to be held somewhere inside of us. Those emotions project into the Universe to mirror back more of the same. You can free yourself by improving your self-esteem.

Begin to transform your connection with yourself by making a list of what you like about you. What really works for you? What can you appreciate about your appearance? Think of 10 things every day that you really appreciate about your body. Do you like your hands? Are you appreciative of functioning fingers? Make lists of these positive aspects and watch your energy and vibrational point of attraction start to improve. You CAN improve your self-esteem and attract love.

The Gig Economy

This is a great article about the Gig Economy and its future by Damon Brown.

“There is a fascinating parallel between the Millennial take on an American Dream deferred and non-Millennial Sinek’s view of the younger generation. In the TV interview, Sinek said that the older generation bears responsibility for the current Millennial challenges because it didn’t prepare Millennials for the new economy of instability and disruption.7

Schwartz voices a similar thought: “My high school counselors said, ‘You need a 9-to-5 to be a success,’ but I don’t. My counselors and advisers said, ‘You need internships, you absolutely need to do this and that to succeed.’ It virtually brainwashed us into thinking this was the only path.”

How to Avoid the Imposter Syndrome

Today’s world is filled with high profile good entrepreneur women who tirelessly struggle to success. Over the years, they have built this in-power to succeed at all cost. And when it seems like the hard work has finally paid off. They say to themselves, I can finally relax. Then it creeps in like a shock! the in-power fails them and ‘the imposter syndrome’ begins to work like a lightning bolt out of the blue.

The Imposter syndrome! The feeling that someday you’re going to be found out for being a fraud- that you have no idea what you are doing. Oh! The feeling to quit. That convincing feeling that you were never good enough. The Millennial women entrepreneurs often feel like impostors both in their lives and at their businesses, this is simply because they constantly try out new things which they have never done before. They learn new skills and this can prompt them to feel unqualified in running their business.  Every woman out there should know that they can do it, and if there is anyone who can do it better, you are just that person. So many people have experienced the feeling of being an imposter. It is an equal-opportunity “syndrome” which affects both the male and the female folks, the CEO’s, Sheryl Sandberg, CEO of Facebook; Howard Schultz, Oprah Winfrey to name but a few. They all at one point in their career had the imposter feeling but overcame it. Don’t ever consider yourself as the only person in the world faced with the imposter syndrome. The question you need to ask is, how did they triumph in order to avoid the imposter syndrome? Certain things need to be checkmated, which have been critically explained sequentially below.

Firstly, I will like you to know that no one is sitting around wanting you to fail. My advice; train yourself to recognize the voices in your head saying you aren’t good enough…and tell them to stop. They are the real fraud, trying to hold you back from your awesome self. Reactivate the in-power in you.  The goal getter! The true boss and giant achiever! You have to conquer by separating yourself from that voice.  More so, you should be able to accept your inadequacies during the learning process. You are what you think in your heart.

Secondly, find a supportive person who will root you on. This can be all that is needed to face any challenge which at the long run makes you better, stronger and smarter. Never be afraid to ask for help or to find a community that allows for non-judgmental sharing. Overcome the inferiority complex in you. You should own your victory and never think for a second that you got lucky, slipped in or benefit from an extraordinary amount of help because you did your part as an individual by providing your quota in which without you, the victory wouldn’t exist.

Thirdly, expose your true self!  To destroy imposter syndrome, you need to be you to everyone at all times. Don’t pretend to be who you aren’t by giving a fake image of yourself or your business to others. If your business is small let it be small but have the mindset of enlarging your enterprise. Welcome changes and be open about your true self to your customers. Let them know what you think, not only in words but in actions. Have a sense of humor and never be scared to fail.

Finally, to avoid being phony, one need to avoid winging it. One should be able to have a master plan as a tool for counter measures (success & failure) in planning ahead. Always know that no plan survives contact with reality unscathed. Things happen and plans change. But it doesn’t give one the privilege not to foresee and prepare for the possible obstacles that may arise. Be equipped with knowledge, knowing that time and hard work are the only things that distinguishes between successful and unsuccessful entrepreneurs. Anything they can do, you can do it! Too many people see great entrepreneurs as special or a gift but the truth is, every entrepreneur is trying to be the best in its field and that is their drive to stardom. There is no magic, there is no short cut. It’s just hard work and believing in oneself. So, if you must conquer that imposter syndrome, you just have to absorb the in-power and just do it! I repeat, just do it! Don’t let stress and fears overwhelm you into quitting and throwing away your genuine talent. You earned your success. Please don’t destroy it.

What to do when someone tells you that ‘you can’t?

Although life is full of amazing opportunities, it also comes with a ton of challenges as well. This is when you need to get the right support from people, but that won’t happen all the time. In fact, most of the time you will just get to do the stuff you want solely by completing all tasks on your own.

Class Of University Students Using Laptops In LectureThere are lots of negative people out there that will diminish your power and effort. They won’t focus on helping you at all. Instead, they will always say that you just can’t do anything, that you are unable to reach success and fulfill all the tasks right in front of you.

How can you deal with this type of people? As you can imagine, there’s a significant impact here, and if you believe these individuals, you can end up with a lack of self-confidence most of the time.

Obviously, you have to remember that staying away from this type of remarks will just help you get stronger and better. The more you focus on value and quality, the better the results will be. After all, you are the one that dictates your success, and no one can tell you how to approach any type of situation in your life.

Yes, there will be challenges, and you will have a bit of stress. But that’s when you need to believe in yourself. You need to work hard, to achieve your goals and focus on what matters the most for you. The more you do that, the better the results will be in the end. It’s all about understanding that even if people are negative, you should try to approach this sort of problem with focus and professionalism.

So, what do you when a person says that you can’t do it?

Prove them wrong!

You shouldn’t take it personally. Just because that person says such a thing, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. In fact, the reality is that you will get amazing results and benefits as long as you focus on your path. Just because someone doesn’t support your efforts and commitment is not the end of the world.

You need to see past that. You have to work hard and focus on showing them that they are wrong. Nothing will sting more than seeing they are wrong after they make such statements. You have to focus on commitment, value and you need to do all in your power to eliminate the doubt and challenges that come in front of you.

A lot of people just say this for the sake of it, they just want to place a barrier between you and your success. If you want to achieve incredible results in life, you just need to do all in your power to achieve your goals. The more motivation you have, the better the results will be.

Analyze your business and personal life, then make the necessary adjustments

However, that person may be on to something. Maybe there are some issues that you don’t see, so performing a self-audit can quickly pay off. This will allow you to figure out the type of mistakes that you avoid seeing most of the time. Sure, it can be very hard to admit that you make mistakes, but this will boost your motivation, and it will just make you stronger in the end.

After all, there is no wrong answer when it comes to your life; you are the one holding its reigns, so as you continue staying focused on what’s meaningful for your life, you should be more than ok.

Smile and move onward

Sure, not all remarks that you receive will be positive in life. You have to acknowledge that, and instead, you have to move forward. There are many good things to be had right in front of you. A true focus on your success is what will push you forward. Smile and remember that every negative remark is something constructive. It allows you to be more insightful and in the end, it will bring you one step closer to your goals and aspirations. Yes, there will be some problems to be had as a whole, but as long as you know how to approach all these things, you will get to be very successful.

Create a plan

One of the best ways to deal with people that tell you something negative is to create a plan. Yes, planning for the future will help a lot, and it will just bring you the type of results you want to have all the time. Planning will help you think about your future, and it will provide you with the guidance you need. Yes, you do need to think about your plans many times and act only once, but the more do that, the better the results will end up being in the end. This shines, and it will provide you with the support and moral guidance that you may need.

Plus, you have to acknowledge the fact that you can’t do everything. It’s much better to be picky and learn what you can do properly. With the right set of ideas, you will have no problem figuring out what works for you and what doesn’t. Be picky and remember, you just can’t do everything that comes in front of you all the time. This is what you want to get and the approach that you want to have. As long as you know how to do that, you will be able to reach the desired success.

Nav.it

Even if someone tells you that you can’t do something, go ahead and nav.it past that remark. Remember, the power is in your hands, and you have the tools and power needed to overcome all obstacles that come in front of you. Yes, there will be plenty of challenges that you have to overcome, and you will have to deal with negative people all the time.

However, you are the one in control. You manage your money, power, talent and future. Learn from your mistakes and don’t listen to every person that tells you something bad. Even if someone says that you can’t learn a particular skill, prove them wrong. The human mind is always ready to handle even the most intense challenges and problems that come its way.

You need to learn how to overcome those issues and, in the end, you just have to understand that dealing with these remarks is something that pertains to the day to day life. Surround yourself with meaningful people and learn from them. This is a much better thing to do and one that will provide you with the ideas and productivity boost that you may need.

Life is full of situations where you can learn new things. So, there’s no way a person can tell whether you are unable to do that or not. Circumstances will always push you towards learning new things. It all comes down to you and your character to acquire the very best results. It will be an amazing experience and one that will certainly take you to the next level most of the time.

Stop over-analyzing

As we mentioned above, it can be a good idea to listen to others and what they have to say, as long as it’s constructive criticism. But if there’s no backup to that particular claim, you just can’t treat something like this seriously. This is why you should consider moving onward to something new. Stop over-analyzing things. If anything, try to focus on what matters the most for you.

Can this be a sign?

Sometimes, all you need is a slight push if you want to reach success. Even such a simple negative remark can push you towards greatness. It all comes down to how you reply to it. Nav.it, focus on reaching your ultimate set of skills and harness them to achieve success in your life. Just because someone tells you that you can’t do a thing, that doesn’t mean you are unable to! Instead, make sure that you do all you can to acquire the skills and tools necessary to do that!

Yes, this can be a sign that you need to make some changes in your life. However, you should not succumb into the negativity created by that person. It will be rather challenging to separate the good from bad here, but that’s where your skills come into play.

Try to psyche yourself up, be committed to any task and don’t leave anything hanging. This will bring you the power and self-confidence that you may need. It’s not a simple thing to do, but things like this will end up helping you a lot in the longer term. Your life is amazing, and you should always try to do all you can in order to improve it. Even if negative people come your way, don’t let that affect you. Stay away from people who tell things like “you can’t do it”, instead surround yourself with positivity and life. Do that, nav.it and life will find a way to make you happy!

You Submitted Your Taxes…Now What?

First of all, congratulations! You already submitted your taxes, and we bet you’re feeling relieved now. This part of the year is very stressful for many people but it really doesn’t have to be this way. Yes, you read it right…

There are a lot of things you can do throughout the year that will make your life a lot easier when it’s time to submit your taxes again next year. So, here are some things you can do that will help you avoid all this stress:

#1: Stay Organized:

One of the best advice everyone will give you when it comes to taxes is to stay organized. Just start a folder where you include all the important documents and financial records throughout the entire year. In case you are self-employed, you can simply used QuickBooks Self-employed version. The software is very simple to use and allows you to keep track on your income, expenses, mileage, and capture all your receipts.

#2: Review Your W-4 Withholding:

The withholding is the tax that your employer takes from your pay each check. In case you got a large tax refund this year, you might consider adjusting it. And it’s actually pretty simple. You just need to re-file the W-4 form with your payroll department and the best of all is that you can do it throughout the entire year.

#3: Donate To Charities Before The End Of The Year:

When you donate to charities you’re not only helping others as you can also help yourself. Donating goods or contributing to charity can decrease your tax liability when it’s time to file your taxes next year.

#4: Contribute To Your Retirement Funds:

Contributing to your retiring funds is a great way that you have to decrease the tax burden next year. If you’re contributing to a traditional IRA or to a 401(k), you’ll be able to take $1 for each $1 reduction in your income, in what concerns to taxes.

#5: Sign Up Or Update Your Financial Information In The Health Insurance Marketplace:

In case you were required to pay a tax penalty for not having health insurance, there is something you can do to prevent this from happening again. Just make sure that you sign up for a Marketplace plan until January 31st.

In case you actually bought the 2017 Marketplace insurance during the special Open Enrollment period, you got a tax credit to help pay for the coverage. So, make sure that you don’t forget to update your financial information throughout the year.

#7: Check Your Paycheck Withholding

In case you didn’t know, about 75% of all Americans get a tax refund check, for about $2,400. But you do have the option to get your tax refund check as a part of your regular paycheck. Considering that most taxpayers pay, on average, about $200 in income taxes every single month, this could be a good idea.

#8: Keep Tax Records

When it comes to taxes and when in doubt, you know you need to keep all records. However, you don’t actually need to keep them all. The IRS recommends that you should keep all your tax records for 3 years, in case you have an audit. Plus, some of the documents that you just filed this year can become very handy next year, like the W-2.

Here are some of the tax-related documents that you should keep:

– W-2 forms

– Home purchase closing statement and/or mortgage payment stubs

– Receipts from any donations to charity that you might have done.

– All the receipts for business travel expenses.

– Bank statements and credit card statements.

– Mobile phone bills.

– 1090 forms from any income paid to you, including any dividends you might have got.

– 1090G form for deducting local and state income taxes.

– Canceled checks, especially for deductions and IRA contributions.

– Receipts from any item that may be entitled to a deduction.

– Last year’s tax return, for a quick comparison and reference.

– Pay stubs for the year.

– Car mileage log, in case you need to use your car for business.

– All medical bills, but especially if they are over 7.5% of your income.

Since there are always so many different papers you need to keep and you just want to have everything organized and in one place, some people prefer to scan all the documents and just save them as PDF files on their computer. In case you need any of them, you just need to print them. In case you decide to scan your documents as well, make sure that you backup your computer. The last thing you want is to all these important papers and documents disappear.

#9: Make Long-Term Investments

Long-term investments are the ones that you hold for more than a year and you’re only taxed about 15%. In case you prefer short-term investments, you need to know that these are taxed normally.

#10: Start Planning with A Tax Professional Now

Despite you can fill your taxes on your own and make your own financial decisions, listening to a tax professional might be a good idea, especially if you’re not used to filling your taxes in the first place. However, make sure that you start looking for a good tax professional now and not just when it’s time to file your taxes again. This gives you time to get referrals from a relative, a friend, or even from an advisor. You just need to know that no matter who prepare your taxes, the responsibility of its accuracy is always yours.

#11: Contribute the Maximum Amount to Your 401(k)

When you contribute the maximum amount that is allowed to your 401(k) account, you will be reducing your taxable income for the current tax year. So, when you do this, you’ll be allowing your earnings to grow on a tax-deferred basis. Please note that all contributions to an employer-sponsored plan, 401(k), 457, or 403(b) needs to be made by December 31st.

As you can see, it’s a lot better if you think about your taxes filing throughout the entire year. It will allow you to have everything you need and also to make sure that you take every chance to save on your taxes or to be eligible for a tax refund. However, to make sure that you’ll be ready to go when the time comes, it’s important that you know about one common mistake many taxpayers do and that can be costly – waiting to file.

There are many different reasons why you shouldn’t leave it to the last minute to file your taxes. In the first place, your tax return can be more complicated than you had anticipated. You might need to gather additional information, more paperwork, or even hire a professional tax preparer instead of using a software. This is why it is so important that you have already someone who you can trust and have everything organized. In the second place, one of the worst things that can happen to you besides knowing that you owe a large sum to the IRS is to find out that you don’t have the means to make the payment. This will lead to penalties and interests that you can easily avoid. When you file your taxes early and if you find yourself in this situation, you still have time to think about a plan on how you will make the necessary payment. And in case you do get a tax refund, when you fie your taxes earlier, you’ll get this money earlier as well and you can put it to work for you. This can be specially helpful when you have a child applying for financial aid or when you need to apply for a mortgage. The last reason is that, unfortunately, one of the most common ways of identity theft is when someone files an income tax return your name and just gets away with the refund. This will leave you in an awful position because you’ll need to explain to the IRS what happened and you may get a lot of problems.

As you can see, by keeping everything organized, gathering and filing all the information and documents you might need and make the right investments according to the limit dates, you’ll have a hassle-free tax season. There’s nothing like anticipating what can go wrong and simply file your taxes right on the beginning of the tax season. You’ll be preventing a lot of problems and in case you’re entitled to a refund, you can get the money sooner.

The tax season doesn’t need to be stressful or overwhelming if you do all these things throughout the year. It’s just a matter of getting started and it will soon begin to be a habit.
